In my teens, I got my very first camera, a Kodak Instamatic used primarily for vacations and special occasions. Since then, I've evolved and refined my perception and appreciation of photography, recognizing that the narrative of form, shape and light is the narrative of life. In particular, forms rendered in black and white can be the most rewarding (and the least forgiving), conveying the intimacy of the frozen moment as no other medium can.
The worId is a complicated place. My hope is that the work you see here will provide a glimpse of clarity and move you to seek your own explanations.
